Recommind receives U.S. patent for search, information filtering and retrieval technology

Berkeley, June 11, 2003 - Recommind, the leading provider of text management solutions for media organizations, announced that Heinrich Bauer Verlag, one of Europe's leading periodical and journal publishing companies, selected MindServer Media to automate the categorization of documents.
Heinrich Bauer will use MindServer Media to tag and classify internal documents as well as news feeds obtained from external sources. Tagging and classifying the documents allows editors to filter relevant information from the flood of daily incoming news, and enables quick access to relevant information.
